Contributing to the About Love Scholarship Program – via BeyGOOD and Shawn Carter Foundation – the iconic jewelry store (and The Carters) pledged $2 million to university students – especially those involved in the arts.

BeyGOOD supports cosmetology scholarships
The “Yaya” songstress’ foundation supports fabulous persons in the beauty and cosmetology field. Sadly, many cosmetology schools fail to offer specialized training for textured hair, particularly for those of Black and African descent.
When Beyoncé got wind of Jana’s Cosmetology Academy – the first Black-owned beauty school in New Jersey – she surprised them with a generous $50K grant through her BeyGOOD foundation. In 2024, the fund distributed five $10K scholarships to help students achieve their career goals.
Many people give up on their passion for cosmetology due to the high cost of education, putting their dreams on hold. However, with Beyoncé’s help, millions worldwide can live out their long-lived dreams once and for all.
