My dog, Max, is my best friend. That may sound a little cliche, but it’s true. Since I adopted him 3 years ago, I’ve done everything possible to spoil him. Buying him as many treats as possible, taking him for walks in his favorite park, letting him sleep in my bed, you name it. I figured I was spoiling him with his food as well. He always seemed to love the kibble I was buying for him, so I thought that was enough. Then a friend told me about how they’ve started using Ollie, a human-grade dog food service that delivers a personalized blend containing all of the vitamins and minerals your pup needs .
At first, I thought it seemed unnecessary. Why pay extra for pet food when my dog seems perfectly happy with the kibble I’ve been feeding him? But my friend said ever since he’s been giving his dog Ollie, his terrible gas is basically gone, he’s gotten to a healthier weight, is more energetic, and his coat is noticably shinier. I never thought a dog could be unhealthy, until I found out that kibble contains processed grains, which is unhealthy for a dog’s GI. And when I my friend told me about all the good Ollie has done for his dog’s health, I figured if it was worth it to pay a little more for healthier food for Max.
Creating my dog’s meal plan was really easy, but surprisingly in depth about Max’s health and habits. It took into account his breed, weight, and current diet, as well as his activity level. I got to specify which types of food he likes to eat, including chicken and turkey. When the first week of meals arrived, it included feeding instructions and tips on how to transition my dog away from the kibble he was so accustomed to.
After a couple of weeks, Max was more excited for Ollie meals than he ever was for kibble. Not only that, but I noticed clear differences in his energy level and gassiness, just like my friend promised.
Like many people, I never thought to really pay attention to my dog’s food, even though diet is such an important part of my health and overall life. I’m thrilled that I finally came to my senses and started paying a little more money for my dog’s food to invest in his overall well-being. It’s all worth it to give my best friend a happier, healthier, and (hopefully) longer life.Update: The awesome team at Ollie is extending a special offer to our readers.
